Sales & Order Support Administrator

Slacks Creek, QLD, Australia

Slacks Creek, QLD | Full-time, 40 hours | Flexible start times | Immediate start available

Own the flow from order to dispatch

We're a wholesale tile and building products business in Slacks Creek, and we're looking for someone who takes real satisfaction in getting the details right.

This is the role where orders come in, paperwork gets tracked, freight gets booked, and customers get told exactly where their goods are. If something falls through the cracks, a truck doesn't turn up and a customer's job stalls. Nothing gets forgotten on your watch.

We need someone dependable

You're a critical part of feeding workload into our warehouse team. When you're on the ball, the floor knows what to pick and when it's going out — and customers get what they were promised. There are teams and customers counting on you turning up and following through, every day.

What you'll be doing

  • Entering customer orders accurately into our systems
  • Answering phone and email enquiries — product info, order status, delivery updates
  • Booking freight and coordinating with the warehouse so orders go out right and arrive intact
  • Looking after customers and drivers collecting from the warehouse
  • Managing sample orders and stock adjustments for damaged/sample goods
  • Invoicing on dispatch, reconciling payments, sending monthly statements
  • Keeping records and documentation tight across every order and interaction

Flexible hours — genuinely

Our warehouse runs 7am–3pm. Our wholesale customers run 8am–5pm. That means we can build your start time around what suits you: come in early with the warehouse, or start later and cover the back end of the customer day. Tell us what works.

You'll do well here if you

  • Are meticulous with data entry and catch errors before they become problems
  • Stay organised in a high-interruption environment and can prioritise on the fly
  • Are reliable — people plan their day around your output
  • Have a confident, professional phone manner
  • Bring a "how can we make this happen for you" attitude — you're the voice of our business, and that approach is how we win and keep customers

Nice to have

  • Experience in warehouse admin, sales support, customer service, or logistics
  • Familiarity with B2B order processing systems
  • Background in wholesale, warehousing, or trade

Why this role

You'll be the link between our customers, our sales team and our warehouse floor. It's varied, it's hands-on, and you'll see the direct result of doing it well — orders out the door on time, customers who keep coming back.

The right person can start immediately.
